The club is made up of twenty-three eighth graders and is run by science teachers Mrs. Peterson and Mr. Barnett.

Arenal Volcano
On our trip to costa rica we visited a volcano named Arenal. It has been active since 1968 and its erruptions are not explosive. Its lava just flows down the mountain. There is no snow on the mountain due to the hot weather and climate.
What an amazing time you are all having! The volcano, planting trees, zip lining and water rafting. The food sounds delicious as well. I hope you are brushing up on your spanish. Can't wait to hear all the adventures in person. Love, Mom, Dad, Austin and Johnny
Hey everyone! Were you able to see lava flows this year? It sounds like you have done some pretty amazing things during your short time in Costa Rica. Enjoy every moment and come home with lots of stories and pictures!
